Shakespearean Porn Titles

Everyone knows that the works of Shakespeare are rife with colorful (my apologies, colourful), witty sexual innuendo that was easily understood by Elizabethan audiences some 400+ years ago but is largely incomprehensible to modern English speakers, or at least to Americans. But what if his more luridly explicit language made its way into the titles of his plays? It might have resembled this list of top 10 Shakespeare porn that I put together in attempt to combine cultured highbrow with vulgar lowbrow.

  6. Ok i had a chuckle but I have to point out #4 Something Wicked… was actually a novel by Ray Bradbury
    Was that line in a play and I’m just missing it?

    1. Yes, it’s a line from Macbeth, during the three witches scene. Other titles that come from Shakespeare include The Sound and the Fury, Brave New World, and The Evil That Men Do (a Charles Bronson movie from the ’80s).
      I like your contributions, than you! May have to expand this list beyond 10. 🙂
