My 10 minute play Hacks, a farce about two out of touch screenwriters, will be performed tomorrow Saturday August 16 with four other short plays and a monologue by Equity Library Theater at the Hamilton Grange Branch of the New York Public Library located at 503 W. 145th St. Cast includes Dante Jayce, James Barniker, and Susanne Pinedo, and the director is KM Jones, more about these talented people in this earlier post.
Hacks is based on a short story I wrote back in 2021, and penning this comedic, absurdist look at people who haven’t kept up with changing times has been one of my more enjoyable writing experiences. Hope you enjoy it too! Tickets can be purchased here.
