(This particular Fibbing Friday is special because it’s the first one I’ve answered that has fallen on a Friday the 13th. This FF is prompted by pensitivity101, and I hope I did it justice with my superstitiously inspired lies. Link below.)

1. What does it mean if you have an itchy right palm? Grabbed a cattle prod by the wrong end
2. On the other hand, what does it mean if you have an itchy left? Someone is thinking about you as they pleasure themself, similar to your ears burning when someone is talking about you
3. Why is it considered good luck to find a horseshoe? It can be used as a boomerang

4. Why is saying ‘Bless you’ when someone sneezes considered to be good luck? It’s a facetious way of saying, “Thanks for spreading around your germs, dumbass.”
5. Why do we say ‘Find a penny, pick it up?’ Penny was the name of a famous hooker
6. Why do we ‘knock on wood?’ Less damaging than other methods

7. Why is the number 666 considered unlucky? It’s the total number of victims impaled by Vlad the Impaler
8. Why do some people believe it’s unlucky to step on the cracks in the pavement? Crack is whack
9. Why do we cross our fingers for good luck? Easier than crossing your toes
10. Why is it unlucky to open an umbrella indoors? The umbrella tip might get stuck in a nearby light fixture and electrocute whomever is holding it
