(A 99 word flash fiction prompted by Carrot Ranch, subject: crazy. Lots of possibilities, but took my a while to find an angle into the theme of the prompt. Not my best, but I made an effort if nothing else. Link below.)
April 16: Flash Fiction Challenge
“I can’t believe we have to live this way,” Chris grumbled.
“I know,” Thelma agreed. “It’s so primitive!”
“Will we have to stay indoors forever?” Jimmy whined.
Mother entered the family room. “There’s a new virus going around,” she reminded them. “Have you forgotten?”
“It just sucks, that’s all,” one of the children said.
“Okay, we’re going to get through this ordeal without anger, shouting, emotional outbursts, or going crazy in any way!” mother rallied. “You know what, I’ll take a break from work and join you guys. What are you doing?”
“Watching an all day Kardashian marathon.”
“AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!”

Ha, ha! I’d be crazy after five minutes! If I lasted that long. Fun take on the prompt.
