The Cast Of Yellow Roses

My one act drama Yellow Roses premiers at the New York Theater Festival 2025 Spring/Summer Festival on Thursday June 5 and here are the six actors who are going to bring it to life.

Carrie Wesolowski is Celia. She has something very important to tell her boyfriend that’s been building up for some time, but she’s having trouble getting through to him.

Juan Perez is Jerry. He is consumed with work and hasn’t been making time for Celia, but he thinks he has a plan to keep her in his life.

Therese McGinn is Reina. A regular at the pub who always seems to have a run of bad luck. In this story in which everyone is looking for something, all she wants is someone to buy her a drink.

Kevin Allen is the bartender. The jaded overseer of all that happens in the pub, but he has a life outside of his night job and plans of his own.

Ana Joh as Tommie. She’s there to meet an old co-worker who’s feeling desperate and she wants to help, but she can only do so much.

Joseph Harrington as Lou. He turns to the one person he thinks can help him, but her advice is not what he expects.

The first three actors were in last year’s staged readings of this play at Equity Library Theater, and the second three are new to this play. I like to work with familiar actors as well as new ones, and this one has an even amount of both.

Yellow Roses will be performed on Thursday evening June 5 at 6:15, June 7 Saturday afternoon at 2:15, Sunday evening June 8 at 6:00, and will be presented with two other one act plays.
