Fibbing Friday (5/1/20)

(More fun things to do during lockdown, improving how to lie.  This week’s Fibbing Friday is prompted by pcguyiv, and the theme appears to be finding differences among similar things and similarities among different things.  All a bit confusing, but I attempted to come up with the best falsehoods I could in this reciprocating prompt.  Link below.)

  1. What do a garage, a car port, and a boat shed have in common?   Various locations where serial killers store body parts
  2. What’s the difference between a mechanic and a jeweler?   The former drains your bank account regularly, the latter only on special occasions
  3. What do the masks of Zorro, the Dread Pirate Roberts, and the Lone Ranger all have in common?   All were manufactured in the same third world sweatshop
  4. What’s the difference between a tiger and a lion?   Only one of them wins the occasional championship for the hapless citzens of Detroit
  5. What do Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram all have in common?   Replacements for human contact
  6. What’s the difference between a wizard and a magician?   It’s acceptable to refer to a magician as grand
  7. What do the Titanic and the Lusitania have in common?   They were uninsured for sinking to the bottom of the ocean
  8. What’s the difference between a tablet and a smart phone?   Only one of them can be swallowed whole
  9. What’s the difference between a budget and an expense report?   The former is a well thought out plan of action, the latter is a collection of boneheaded, misguided purchasing decisions oafishly made to look like legitimate business decisions
  10. What do a house, an apartment, and a condominium all have in common?   All are way too damn expensive in the Bay Area
