There have now been five rehearsals for my full length stage play Electric Serenade and I hear from the director that they’re coming along well! I can’t be at the rehearsals because they’re in New York City and I live in California but I plan on flying out there for the final rehearsals and opening night on Sunday September 11th.
I’ve been in regular contact with the director and we’ve been going over script changes (mostly trimming unneeded dialogue), searching for a crew, filling out paperwork, reserving rehearsal space, and all the other little details that need to be taken care of.
The venue is Theater for the New City in lower east Greenwich Village, the event is the 2022 Dream Up Festival, and Electric Serenade opens Sunday night on September 11th. Here’s the link to purchase tickets: https://ci.ovationtix.com/35441/production/1132973
